David Coonrod

David Coonrod is an Associate at Three West, specializing in healthcare-related commercial real estate. He holds an associate degree from Northwestern Michigan College and brings a diverse and extensive background to his role. 

Raised in Interlochen, Michigan, David’s journey has been marked by dedicated service and professional excellence. His career began with a notable stint in the Marine Corps, where he provided diplomatic security for American embassies. Following his military service, he transitioned to a role as a Leelanau County Sheriff’s Deputy, further developing his skills in security and public service. With 18 years of experience in the construction trades, David has a deep understanding of building structures and the specific needs of business owners, making him exceptionally well-suited for the real estate industry.

Since joining Three West in 2021, David has leveraged his background to become a key player in the firm, including serving as a leasing partner for Healthpeak Properties, a national medical REIT. David’s professional journey is complemented by his active involvement in the community as a member of the Knights of Columbus, showcasing his commitment to service both professionally and personally.

Outside of his professional life, David is a devoted family man, married with two adult children. He enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and camping, and maintains a strong Christian faith. 

His multifaceted background, combined with his dedication to his clients and community, makes David an asset to the Three West team and a trusted advisor in the commercial real estate market.
